Gogma Crafting Flow
-
Start with R8 Artian — You need a Rarity 8 Artian weapon upgraded to level 5 with Oricalcite. Its five random reinforcement bonuses carry into the Gogma version.
-
Pick Focus — Choose Attack, Affinity, or Element via Tarred Device focus. This gives a strong stat boost with drawbacks and cannot be changed without making a new weapon.
-
Roll Skills & Bonuses — The weapon gains one random set bonus and one random group skill, plus reinforced bonus slots that can be kept and upgraded or fully reset.
-
Scout the Table — Rolls follow fixed weapon/element tables. Craft junk weapons, record outcomes, quit without saving, then spend valuable materials only when the table reaches a target roll.
Focus Enhancements
| Focus | Gain | Tradeoff | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Focus | +10 Attack | -15% Affinity | |
| Affinity Focus | +10% Affinity | -10 Attack, -20 Element, small sharpness penalty | |
| Element Focus | +50 Element | -5% Affinity |
What Makes Gogma Weapons Special
Built-In Set Bonus
Each weapon rolls one set bonus skill, letting the weapon count toward armor-set effects such as Gore Magala’s Tyranny or Leviathan’s Fury.
Built-In Group Skill
Each weapon also rolls one group skill, such as Lord’s Soul, Lord’s Favor, or Fortifying Pelt.
Reinforcement Upgrade
Gogma keeps the five Artian reinforcement bonuses and can push them further. Each bonus has four levels, with EX as the highest.
Stacking Limit
You cannot have more than two of the exact same bonus at the same level. For example, two Attack EX is allowed, but three Attack EX is not.
Reroll Options
| Option | What Changes | Use When | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keep Bonuses | Preserves bonus categories and attempts to improve levels. | You already have the right stat types but want stronger values. | |
| Reset Bonuses | Rerolls all five bonus slots from scratch. | The stat combination is bad and not worth upgrading. | |
| Reset Skills | Rerolls set bonus and group skill pair. | The reinforcement stats are good but skill pair is poor. | |
| Same Focus Device | Costs 3 matching Tarred Devices for skill reroll. | Best material efficiency. | |
| Different Device | Costs 6 non-matching Tarred Devices. | Only use when spare materials are abundant. |
RULE · Farming Method — Scout the table by crafting several weapons of one element, recording skill pairs, then quitting without saving. Repeat for other elements. Once you know the next rolls, use junk crafts to advance the table and spend your real materials on the target weapon.
TIP · Mindset — Perfect Gogma rolls are powerful, but the system is punishing. Use table scouting if you want to optimize, but do not let the chase erase the fun of playing the weapon.
