Gogma Artian Weapon Frame
What is Gogma Artian?
Artian weapons are the highest-tier weapon type in MH Wilds, crafted from Tempered monster materials at the Smithy. The Gogma variant uses Gogmazios materials and carries a random set bonus — the recommended pairing is Gore Magala's Tyranny, applied through armor or talisman slots.
Infusion Type
Artian weapons have 3 infusion slots. Default for most melee builds is 3× Dragon Attack on Element Focus weapons, or 3× Attack on Attack Focus builds. Gunner builds may use paralysis, sleep, or ammo-specific infusions.
Reinforcement Template (Standard)
Slot 1
Highest raw bonus per reinforcement slot.
Slot 2
Second EX slot doubles down on the strongest raw option.
Slot 3
Slightly lower than EX, but still the best value here.
Slot 4
Another Attack III keeps the template focused on raw damage.
Slot 5
Extends white sharpness so you spend less time sharpening.
Default Set Bonus
Weapon Set: Gore Magala's Tyranny
Applied through armor slots. Synergises with Antivirus 3 — Tyranny inflicts Frenzy on the hunter, and curing Frenzy activates Antivirus for +25% affinity.
Group Skill: Lord's Soul
Group skill unlocked by equipping 3 pieces from Arch-Tempered monsters. Provides Guts (one lethal hit prevented per hunt above an HP threshold) and +5% attack.
Exception Cases
Some builds replace Tyranny with a different weapon set bonus for higher output: Jin Dahaad's Revolt (Lance, SnS, CB), Arkveld's Hunger (Switch Axe), Leviathan's Fury (Switch Axe armor), Soul of the Dark Knight (Greatsword).
Core Offensive Skills

| Burst | 1 | Offensive | Damage bonus after consecutive hits. One level is enough on most builds. |
| Master's Touch | 1 | Offensive | Blade weapons only. Prevents sharpness loss on critical hits — keeps you in white sharpness for the whole hunt. |

INFO · Why this works — Weakness Exploit 5 (+50%) + Agitator 5 (+20%) + Antivirus 3 (+25%) puts you at +95% affinity on weak points while enraged. Add Maximum Might 3 (+30%) and you exceed 100% — every weak-point hit becomes a guaranteed critical, at which point Critical Boost 5 and Master’s Touch deliver their full value every single hit.
