The Crimson loop. Get to red spirit through any counter — Foresight Slash, Iai Spirit Slash, or Focus Strike on a wound — then spam Crimson Slash one into Spirit Blade one for around 53 motion value per second. That's the highest sustained DPS in Longsword's kit. Save Spirit Helmbreaker into Spirit Release Slash for burst windows, like when the monster is down or about to leave the zone.
